In the future, these can be planned and built on the modular basic concept, which is visually based on construction containers. The innovation site, which has been in Göttingen since 2022, has set new technological standards. In the future, customers will be able to make their purchases independently around the clock with self-checkout kiosks and also shop or rent products in the Baushop at weekends or late at night.

The signaling is a visual language that is intended to be understood internationally without language barriers. A guidance system was also integrated into the Kurt König Baushops. Information about paths and places inside and outside buildings is conveyed via guidance and orientation systems. The visitor is guided and informed by the signage system. As in the architectural context, a clear and minimalist communication of information is also relevant here.
